Evolution Hair Clinic is Scotland’s leading scalp micropigmentation (SMP) clinic. Our state-of-the-art clinic and training academy is run by awesome duo Colin & Gilly. The clinic is conveniently located in Falkirk just thirty minutes from Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Colin Smith is the founder of Evolution Hair Clinic.  He is a multi award winning, Ofqual level 4 qualified, scalp micropigmentation practitioner and trainer with 7 years experience in SMP. Colin lives in Falkirk with his amazing wife Gilly, two children, dog Scruff and cat Ozzy.

Colin is extremely passionate about his job and loves what he does for a living. He feels genuinely blessed to be in a position to help others gain the huge confidence boost that comes from a new hairline.. Colin was one of the first specialists to deliver scalp micropigmentation treatments in Scotland.

He has been recognised internationally for the exceptional results he delivers. Recently, Colin was awarded Best Hair Loss Clinic of the year from the Scottish Beauty Industry Awards and best Scalp Micropigmentation clinic of the year  from the Prestige awards, Best cosmetic practitioner of the year from the Scottish Hair & beauty awards and recently best scalp micropigmentation training academy from the Corporate live wire awards.

Colin is a walking encyclopedia on all things scalp micropigmentation. He is recognised as a pioneer within the industry and continues to innovate and evolve SMP techniques.  He has treated thousands of men & women suffering from hair loss issues from all walks of life & from all over the UK & abroad.

As a client of the treatment himself Colin understands only too well, the struggles his clients go through when suffering hair loss and why a straightforward, affordable solution is so important.

Colin’s hair started to disappear in his early twenties, he tried the usual hair restoration lotions and potions which inevitably failed. Eventually he started shaving his head regularly.

After receiving his own SMP treatment Colin was blown away by how good & natural the results looked. Not to mention the confidence he gained by having his hairline back once again. Colin knew almost immediately he had to help others in a similar position.

Colin’s own scalp micropigmentation treatment was expensive and he had to travel to England on four separate occasions to have his Scalp Micropigmentation completed.

This added extra costs and hassle having to travel down south on top of the already expensive price tag of his treatment. It was after this he quickly realised there was a problem and that he could offer a solution.

With a major lack of quality SMP clinics in Scotland at affordable prices, Colin trained extensively under one of the early pioneers of scalp micropigmentation in Birmingham, England (the birthplace of scalp micropigmentation) so he could offer his clients the very best SMP treatments at affordable prices.

A few years after he completed his training and built his experience he went on to complete his Ofqual level four in scalp micropigmentation. To date, he is one of only a handful of scalp micropigmentation artists in the UK to have completed this highest level of training available for scalp micropigmentation artists.

Since then Evolution Hair Clinic has been treating men and women of all ages and backgrounds giving our clients exceptionally natural looking results.

“Discovering Scalp Micro Pigmentation was a game changer for me, I couldn’t believe such a straight forward, quick treatment could instantly boost my confidence and forever solve my insecurities about losing my hair. My only regret is that I didn’t find out about scalp micropigmentation sooner. I used to wear hats all the time. Now I NEVER wear them. I  absolutely love my job and I am so honoured to be in a position to help others gain that massive confidence boost that comes with getting your hairline back once again”
